This practical overview will walk faculty through the IRB process at UIC, including which projects require IRB review or submission to OPRS, the different types of review, and when single IRB (sIRB) review may be required or appropriate. We’ll also cover tips and resources for navigating UIC Research, UIC’s electronic research submission platform.
